Preventing Playground Bullying
My family took our son out of public
school partly because of bullying.
Honestly, there was at least two parties in the wrong; the most
important one was that of the adult teacher on playground duty that refused to
teach kids proper educate in play.
Sorry, no thank you. Our child
doesn’t need an education in the school of hard knocks.
Kids aren’t born knowing how to play, but even ducklings look to their mother for guidance in everything. Children are born as wild animals, and
therefore we must teach children to play correctly through guided play.
This creates the idea of a new job,
modern playground supervisors, almost like the recess monitors of the past, but
this time, differently, college should provide education and certification for
teachers that are supposed to teach kids how to play.
We need paid teachers to teach kids
how to play on the playground. Different
from teaching physical education, we also need kids to run around in play, all
the while teaching skills such as conflict resolution.
The teaching that our son needs to be
educated in the ins and outs of bullying through receiving a mental beating on
the playground, as a part of his time that he spends in grade school is false. The knowledge of how to play in a civilized
way isn’t innate. In the best scenario,
we must teach playtime education.

Doctor Prescribe Opiates – Addictive as Cigarettes
Quitting opiates is as hard as quitting cigarettes. The opiates that doctors offer you are addictive
as smoking cigarettes. Heroin is the
most addictive drug according to this:

Doctors aren’t perfect.
Many times doctors get people hooked, especially on nasty things. You
may be surprised, but in years past doctors used to recommend smoking. Today, I suggest that offering the opiates in
question is as if a doctor offered you cigarettes in order to help you
relax. No doctor in his/her right mind
would prescribe cigarettes!
Luckily, there is hope for smokers because smoking is on the
decline in the USA . Doctors need to be on
board to stop prescribing so many opiates, because many of us know that once
addicted to narcotic painkillers, the next step – heroin – couldn’t be worse. Opiates should only be used in the most extreme cases, such as chronic pain.
It is time for America to tackle the opiate gorilla too. It starts with doctors being smart about prescription drugs. Any former smoker will tell you that quitting cigarettes is one of the hardest doable things, and yet doctors recommended them at one time. I have quit smoking myself, and for me it took both the patch and the gum. This subject is in another blog article of mine.

Giving Up Music and Software Piracy
The other day I started throwing out unlicensed software and torrents with full discographies of various bands burned on to DVDs because in a discussion with a Rabbi, as this is what he advised me to do, and as opposed to just not downloading anymore, and enjoying what I have (no longer).

- You can spread awareness to others.
- You can erase files of music that you did obtain illegally
- You can make a point of supporting the artists in the future
For some time, I had promised myself that I would not engage in software and music piracy, even before I found Pandora.com. Honestly, when I first heard of Pandora, I thought I was going to be majorly disappointed; however, now I think they are great!
With Pandora I feel like Gd has given me a multitude of blessings. And no, they, Pandora, don’t have all my favorite music, but they do have a lot, and especially they do have enough! (I am a huge consumer of music)
This actually made today’s next step easier; today I threw out hundreds of pirated cds. Some of them I cherished, but many of them would have disappointed me if I bought them. However, before today, yesterday to be precise, I wanted to listen to music while on my way to play MTG (Magic the Gathering). This became a problem for me as I told myself I would give one last listen to a Flower Kings cd on my way to the store, and then when I got home, I would throw it out.
Well that last pirated cd; well guess what, I wouldn’t work in the player, so I had to switch it out with a purchased cd! Imagine that, a miracle of Hashem! Being the religious geek that I am, I was glad that the player wouldn’t play the pirated cd, as it was a way to break the melancholy of giving up something loved. So instead, I popped in my personally purchased Niacin cd (with Dennis Chambers and Billy Sheehan), and listened to it, before bringing the cd notebook holder inside order to fill with music that was personally purchased, or gifted.
Don’t get me wrong, while I have thrown out hundreds of discs, I have yet to fully purge all my music; that I am here today is thanks to Gd’s mercy, and may Gd reward me with much blissful music in the years to come for following His Law! I will probably get around to destroying all I have pirated someday, but now it is enough to get rid of many with the intent of completely erasing the history of my piracy altogether.

Maybe I will get more rewards from Gd for my works in return.

Making Universal Healthcare Work with Minimal Resources
I suggest
that there are two types of patient; the problem patient and the compliant
patient.
One thing
the USA must reckon with is that with universal care, it becomes harder to
ensure everyone gets served. Everyone
who wants healthcare, be it an extension of Medicare, Obamacare, or something
like MassHealth wants everyone to be served.
However, if we have universal coverage, then we face the problem of
burned out healthcare workers. For
example, in the instance of heroin overdoses, everyone either should want, or
actually wants for that person to be served, but the problem is that there are
limited resources. For example, there
may not be enough ambulances.
So here is
my suggestion: we keep universal care,
but create a two tier system.
One tier would be the medication compliant patients that demonstrate effort in trying to
get better.
The other tier would consist of patients
that refused medication; those that make
no compliance effort of trying to follow a treatment plan in order to get
better.
The reason
for this two tier plan is so that for example, repeat narcotic abusers who
overdose may have to wait longer in order to get served, because they would be
a second tier problem patient. Nobody wants to
see anyone die for any reason, but the healthcare community owes it to its
clients to treat the people who actually want treatment first.
Also, I
suggest that these two healthcare tiers should not be made permanent.
If someone
decides to quit their medications against doctor advice, this should transfer them
from the compliant tier to the non-compliant tier.
Differently,
if someone wants to improve their medical rating, they should also have the
chance of proving that they are fully medically compliant or want to be fully
compliant, such that they have the right to be among those to be served first.

Hatred of Power: Similarity of Frustrated Americans to Bin Laden
Has the anti-corporate American tribe ever stopped to analyze how similar they are philosophically to Osama Bin Laden? Many have joined the ranks of folks that are angry at the power of Corporate America; be they the Occupy group, Muslims, especially those in the USA, possibly even the majority of citizens, that feel disenfranchised, especially by the oligarchy.
Collectively, people demand $15 an hour, and started the Occupy Wall Street that led to so many arrests, protests everywhere but differently 9-11 united us. And, don't forget the protests following the Occupy movement. It makes more sense to me that those that denigrate corporate America would champion Osama Bin Laden, stamping on and cursing the dirt of the most capitalist buildings in the world, the twin towers, also known as the World Trade Center.
I would find it interesting to see how the Occupy NYC group would have behaved in response to September 11th. Imagine protesters everywhere on the street cursing capitalism with all their hearts, and then come the planes flying into the World Trade Center. I guess that I'll never know what that response would be.
Basically, we can know that 9-11 was an issue of power and not capitalism because Mohammed, himself, was a capitalist. We had the power to carve up the Arabian Peninsula, and despite the anger of the natives, we did it anyway. The anger was specifically spite that in 1921 there was a Conference where the West carved up the Arabian Peninsula without regard for the Arabs. Of course that was offensive to Muslims not only because the Qu'ran calls for Islamic gov't, but also because any nation would want to be sovereign in their homeland. The same thinking is essentially what led USA to revolution, meaning we didn't want to be colonies of Britain. We wanted our own leadership.

Toll of Science Research to the Environment
Most environmentalists probably cause greater damage by merely driving [car carbon emissions] to work on a daily basis than they would do if they merely sat at home and collected a free check, such as SSI. And, really if we think about it, driving a car to work is really just a drop in the bucket of the carbon footprint for environmental researchers. This is reason to be careful when hiring folks for such jobs, as we don’t want to hire hypocrites. We should think that at a bare minimum even one environment researcher should be able to cause a positive net improvement to the environment. Breaking even should start with environmentalists as role models, as already we know most of us are not breaking even.
Granted, tax payers are going to need to fund research, and one does not break even on a whim. We need to fund people so that their research may show us a way to break even. However, it is not as if there aren’t already enough ideas out there. We need to put these ideas to work, and refine them, not only so that they are profitable, but also primarily that one day we will cohabitate with nature without destroying it.
Don’t get me wrong, I like many environmentalists, but this is a call to bring government funded research under greater scrutiny. The role of environmentalists may be prominent in saving the word from future dystopias such as overpopulation, carbon pollution, depletion of fish from oceans, and renewable energy sources.

Plants Can Do That?
The Prophets
predicted that the in the era of Mashiach plants would sprout amazing things
like clothes. This is how:
DNA is
something that both plants and animals have in common, and that if given the
proper machinery can make almost anything relative to life. The idea is to make plant DNA code in an
orderly way for what we need. Could we
develop plants that make shirts? – Absolutely, and especially in a controlled
environment. The key would be to
manipulate select plants spatially in their growth, such as the logistics of
size and placement, and then also genetically alter their flower designs to get
the right stuff. The way to start would
be with easier weaves, and then progress to smaller and tighter fit weaves
similar to the way hard discs of lower information capacity came first before
smaller and smaller hardware came.

Nuclear Weapon Danger
What happens if a USA President elected legally through the system turns renegade? Ever hear of a liar getting elected? Think a liar can’t get elected?
If we don’t believe that our politicians are honest, then I think we should feel some insecurity about them if they wield nuclear weapons. Yeah, I believe we are safe with President Barrack Obama in office, but what is to say the next President won’t be a lunatic? Can we believe what our politicians tell us when they run for office? Let's not have a false sense of security; one day everything may be peaceful, and the next, the game changes when someone sets off one of these nukes for personal reasons.
Nukes are just like guns, and I think the people who are most likely to get hurt by them are their owners. This is a fact: if states own nuclear bombs, then it is highly likely that eventually they will be used. Thus, France’s and Great Britain’s nuclear arsenal are absolutely a threat. Thus, the USA’s nuclear weapons are absolutely a threat. All nuclear weapons are a threat! They are built to inspire fear to enemies, such that they feel THREATENED into submission.

Seven Year Verifiable Bible Pattern Predicts Coming Financial Instability For 2015
In Judaism, 7 is a very important number.
For example, a Menorah has 7 candles.
There are 7 days to a week.
The Sabbath is on the 7th day.
The Sabbatical year occurs 1 in every 7 years.
In the Bible, debts are released in the 7th year (Deuteronomy 15:2).
According to this calendar 5775 (2015) is a Sabbatical. Please note, that according to the Hebrew Calendar (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hebrew_calendar) this is the year 5775. At the end of a Sabbatical year debts are forgiven. This is where the problem starts because it can be difficult to forgive debt, which results in recession.

Maelstroms of Non-Absolute Time Progression

Differently, I say that time may be mostly absolute but that it is subject to mixing currents similar to electrical noise, such that Einstein is only partially correct.
I believe that time progresses as a chronological vector like the predominant tidal currents of the sea or wind. The greater vector, near absolute time, overcomes lesser currents of time, moving us forward in perceivable and measurable ripples of the universe's grand oxidation and reduction scenarios.

Transient Physics of The Evolving Universe
Ask yourself these two questions:
1. It is well known now that the universe is expanding. Please Google something like, "Expanding universe," if there is any doubt as to the authenticity of this claim. Consider that as the universe changes size, will its expansion cause physical laws to evolve, such that a universe’s physical laws are impermanent and in need continual reevaluation?
2. This may not seem obvious at first, but when asking: Do scientists claim that the laws of our universe existed prior to its creation? hopefully it should become clearer.
Physical laws, which govern our universe are not absolute because they had to have evolved as the universe chronologically expands from nothing. This currently means that at this time different equations for calculations are used, actual equations verifiable through data, that are size dependant, as one cannot use an equation for the large when calculating the physics of the very small (involving quantum physics), nor can they calculate the converse, very small for very large; and what's more it is currently impossible to calculate both big things and very small things together in the same equation! The laws of the physical universe often depend upon dimensions, but yet the dimensions of the universe are continually changing!
Therefore, I suggest that the explanation for the mathematical discrepancies between the physics of the large and quantum reality (physics of the small.) are actually both transient, such that constants must be added that adjust for discrepancies.
As a religionist my thought is that as we enter the age of Moshiach, the physical laws the govern the universe will continue toward perfection and ease of use, such that one day we will have a confluent mathematical system for all calculations both large and very small.

More Financial Instability for 2015 Predicted Via 7 Sabbaticals
In Judaism, the number 7
is very important. The Menorah in Torah has 7 candles. There are 7 days to each
week, with Shabbat on the 7th day. The Sabbatical year, which for Jews occurs 1
in every 7 years, has often been a difficult year for financial markets. The financial difficulties the USA has been
through show this trend to be true counting 7 Sabbaticals in a row; 2015, 2008,
2001, 1994, 1987, 1980, 1973.
In the Bible, the
command to release debts in the seventh year is in Deuteronomy 15:2.
For Orthodox Jews, this is the year 5775. It is also a Sabbatical year, where according to the Bible at the end of this year debts are to be forgiven. That is 5775 / 7 = 825, meaning this is the 825th Sabbatical year since the beginning of creation. Also, please take note; the Hebrew calendar does not begin January 1st. 2015 is already following
the Sabbatical year pattern financial difficulties. It is already my first example, and since
August of 2014 the market has shown increased instability, where September was
the time of Rosh Hashanah, the date of
the Jewish New Year’s 5775 beginning.
This does not mean that
Jews are to blame for anything. The Sabbatical is Gd’s way. Gd is sovereign.
It is up to us to figure how to rule this world. This just happens
to be the way Gd makes us work.
Let me illustrate: it is
now 2015 according to the Gregorian calendar, a Sabbatical year, the 825th
Sabbatical, and financial markets are already showing signs of correction. The
pattern is as such, by subtracting 7 years from 2015, as the Sabbatical occurs
every 7 years; we end up with the last financial crisis, the Great Recession of
2008.
2015 - 7 = 2008, the 824th Sabbatical and a year of recession.
A 3rd example of this market recession pattern is the “Early 2000s recession” that lasted from March 2001–Nov 2001.

The Genesis of New Matter and/or Space through Tzimtzum
Imagine a day where we could literally create more space, enlarging our planet so that food shortages and overpopulation are no longer a threat. How, I don't know; but it happened in the creation of the cosmos, and it continues to happen. The universe is expanding. What if we could control how it expands?
How did the matter of the cosmos first arise? This disproves the Law of Conservation of Mass. It must have arisen through the creation of new space, energy, and/or matter. My thinking is that if it arose once, then it should be possible to accomplish the expansion of new space and/or matter again, especially through the actions of humans if we get smart about it.
According to Lurianic Kabbalah, the first hint on how we can accomplish the genesis of new space occurs is in the Book of Genesis. In the Creation Week, G-d tells us that He causes the genesis of creation with “tzimtzum.” Tzimtzum is the Hebrew word for expansion, contraction, and/or separation, which may be how we can expand the universe. What works for Hashem also works for us: But only if we use the holy language. Any scientist seeking understanding should look to the creation account in Genesis. I would say it should be thought of as an inspired "How to" manual.

Combat Red Tides and Leave the Shellfish Alone
Eating shellfish has always been a bad idea. Clams and other shellfish feed on ocean crud thereby cleaning the water. If the ocean was a fish tank, then the shellfish would be the filters keeping the water safe from contaminants. Without the filter the tank grows too much bacteria. Filter feeders are essential because they filter, and when we diminish their numbers, the result is red tides when the clams can't keep up with polluting biological demand.

A New War to Wage – Obesity at Epidemic Proportions
It used to
be that people died in battle. It is still that way. However, the forms are changing. Now, people are becoming more likely to die
from overeating, such that we must wage war again, this time with a silent killer,
obesity.
Obese
bellies should be considered as having similarity to the unwanted tattoos the Nazis forced on the Jews during the Holocaust.
Obesity is not just killing, but it is maiming its victims. The morbidity of obesity increases daily, and
if it not stopped somehow, it may claim more lives than the Holocaust did.
